Pai-Gow Poker is a combination of Poker and an ancient Chinese game called Pai-Gow. The traditional Chinese game of Pai-Gow is played with tiles that look like dominos. To make it easier to understand, an American version was introduced using standard playing cards and the ranking of hands were fashioned after poker hands. Thus the new game of Pai-Gow Poker was developed.This game is played on a semi circular Blackjack-size table with six playing positions. Player can only play on any one position at a time.

Bet is placed in one of the circles provided. Pai-Gow Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck and one joker. Both Dealer and Player receive seven cards each, which are split into two hands – a 5-card hand called a High hand and a 2-card hand called a Low hand. High hand is also referred to as "Highest" and Low hand is also referred to as "2nd Highest". The aim is to beat the dealer's hands. Note: Joker is not a wild card, and can only be used to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush, otherwise it is treated as an Ace.
